  • Day 01

    DAY 01: HA NOI - TAM DAO

    09h30: Meet and greet

    Our guide and driver will meet you at informed place. Then we depart to Tam Dao town, which is 80km from Hanoi and 2-hour drive.

    11h30: Check-in hotel

    12h30: Lunch at local restaurants

     And of course, enjoy local specialties. As a land of cool climax, Tam Dao is famous for su su (chayote) which is popularly grown here for the whole year. You will also have a chance to try lots of other grilled food with beef, pork or chicken. One feature that people like the food in Tam Dao is that all livestock and poultry are free range. They eat all natural food so the meat is a little bit tough but super delicious.

    13h30: Visit the Town Square, Ancient Cathedral and Silver Waterfall

    16h30: Back to the town square

    This is time to take a rest after a long journey, enjoy a Vietnamese coffee or whatever drink you want to try.

    18h00: Dinner at local restaurant and free time then.

    At night: Visit local market.

    This is time for you to see another aspect of Tam Dao. Life keeps vibrant, but in another way. People gather in the night market to try local specialties, most of which are grilled or roasted and they are ways better when try in a freezing night. Moreover, there are many other fermented/salted fruits and nuts like chestnuts, peanuts, walnuts, cashew nuts…

  • Day 02

    DAY 2: TAM DAO - HA NOI

    6h00: Get started

     Gather at hotel hall and have breakfast to warm up ourselves

    8h00: Visit Thuong Ngan Princess temple and the Telecommunication tower

    The new journey will be a little bit challenging. To climb up to the tower, we have to get through 1394 stones gently sloping up. This is not hard as a real mountain trekking, but give you a great time to get closer to nature with tree on the either sides and the birds singing from the forest. If you do not want to climb such high, you can stop at 200th stones, where Thuong Ngan princess temple locates. Visiting the temple, you can knows lots of stories about our God-honor tradition that others often misunderstand that to be our religion.
